Mrs. Mary E. Palmer, the widow of Mrs (sic - Mr.) James Palmer, died at 4:20 o'clock this morning at her home, 206 West College Street. Her illness was of aobut two weeks duration and death due to dropsy. Mrs. Palmer's maiden name was McClintock and she was born at Chillicothe, Ohio 69 years ago. She has been a resident of Crawfordsville for more than 40 years. Two children survive her, Harry and Fannie. The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church. The funeral will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday by Rev. Goss. Interment at Masonic Cemetery. - kz

Mrs. Mary E. Palmer, relict of James Palmer, died last Saturday about four o’clock at her residence, 206 West College Street. The funeral took place on Monday morning at 9 o’clock at the residence. The services were conducted by Rev. S. W. Gross and the interment was at the Masonic Cemetery.  rs. Palmer was sixty nine years of age and was born in Ohio, being the daughter of James McClintock. She came to this place with her parents and was married to James Palmer.  wo children survive her, Harry Palmer and Miss Fannie Palmer. Mrs. Palmer was a member of the M. E. Church and was a woman most highly esteemed by all who knew her. Her life was a quiet one but was passed in the exercise of the many excellent offices which endeared her to her family and friends. -s
